How often do we get to just have FUN as business owners?
Not often enough, we say!
We spend our time pinging around events, pressured to network, pushed to connect, sitting through speakers.
And we love it, but we leave not really having had those beautiful organic conversations that really fill up our soul.
The connections.
The friendships.
The allies.
That's why this year, The Spicy Brain Collective want to bring everyone together for an evening of joy, connection, celebration and fun.
Of course, we will be joined by business owners from across the UK, as well as some supportive friends who have celebrated the Spicy Brain Collective at various parts of our journey...
But the focus is on filling up our souls, not our address books.

Tucked away in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, High Trenhouse is a corporate conference, retreat and self-catering venue that has spent years championing something the rest of the world tends to forget about: the value of actually giving people space to think, breathe, and recover.
Their setting is properly beautiful. Secluded grounds, quiet rooms, big skies, and the kind of atmosphere that lets your nervous system exhale the moment you arrive. Whether it's a corporate strategy session, a wellness retreat, or a few restorative days in their self-catering barn, High Trenhouse is built for the people who know that clarity does not come from grinding harder.
That is exactly why they belong at this party.
The whole ethos of the Spicy Brain Collective is that our brains work best when they are actually looked after, not squeezed dry. High Trenhouse gets that. Their team have been quietly making the case for years that better thinking happens in the right environment, and we love them for it.
If you have ever needed a proper reset, or you run team retreats, planning days, or leadership programmes, put High Trenhouse on your list.

The Copy Edge
CiCi Reagan coaches bold business owners to unfuck their messaging, funnels, content and sound like their best selves everywhere- so they can spread big ideas, build communities people want to belong to, and attract more of the right buyers (without becoming beige, generic or chronically online.)

The Ask Bigger Podcast is officially the toilet sponsor of the SBC Birthday Bash. Which means every trip you take to the loo on the night will come with a small dose of chaos, brilliance, and the gentle reminder that you are allowed to stop playing small.
Ask Bigger is the podcast that refuses to do things the normal way. Hosted by the legendary Simon Hood, it thrives on the raw, the unpredictable, and the delightfully strange. Simon has interviewed everyone from 90s icons to Gladiators to high-level entrepreneurs to, we kid you not, Mr Blobby. He asks the questions no one else has the guts to ask, and leads every conversation with one unapologetic mission.
Stop playing small. Start asking bigger.
If that is not the perfect energy for a Spicy Brain Collective event, we do not know what is.
So when you head to the loo on the night, take a second to thank Simon for making the space that little bit more interesting. And if you happen to spot a giant hippopotamus in the corridor, do not be alarmed. That is just Simon in his usual conference attire.
🎧 Give the Ask Bigger Podcast a listen — you'll be hooked
We are hosting the SBC Birthday Bash at Pleased To Meet You in Morpeth..
Tucked into the heart of Morpeth on Bridge Street, Pleased To Meet You is a gorgeous space that pulls off the trick of feeling both stylish and genuinely relaxed. Crafted cocktails, a beautiful bar, a curated drinks menu, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more.
For our birthday, we're spreading out across five spaces so there's room for every kind of energy on the night:
🍸 The bar for pull-up-a-stool conversations and expertly poured drinks
🌿 The terrace for fresh air, quieter chats, and a breather when you need one
🥂 The drinks reception room for your welcome drink and the first hellos of the evening
🎤 The wedding venue room as our main networking space, with a small stage for the birthday speeches and thank-yous
🎶 The party room where, all being well, karaoke will be happening (yes, really)
Five rooms means five different vibes to move between, so whether you're up for singing your heart out or hiding in a quiet corner with a cocktail, there's a space for you.

A note on staying over: The Wildings also has 15 boutique bedrooms above the venue if you fancy making a night of it. Worth a look if you're travelling in.
We want everyone to be able to decide, before they arrive, whether this party works for them. So we've written down exactly what to expect: what's confirmed, what the venue is like, and how the night will run. No surprises, no guessing. Our Accessibility Pack and Inclusion Policy were written with our Inclusion Partner, Ria Jackson of Inclusive Minds UK.
